Those who remember the Feodorovski Sobor just a few years ago will remember the sad state of the church with gaping holes in its walls and the dark helmet of a shattered dome looming over the ruined cathedral.  What a change a few years have made.  What work the Russians have done!  Now we can see the this great monument of early 20th century Russian architecture with its brilliant gold cupola rising like a phoenix from the ashes...
