The Home of the Last Tsar - Romanov and Russian History

Alexander Palace Time Machine - Book Finder

Welcome to the Alexander Palace Book Finder, an information guide to books on the Romanovs and imperial Russia!

To learn about a book, click on a title from the list at left.

This guide was designed as a tool for navigating the vast array of Romanov literature by providing basic information at a glance, including descriptions, cover photos, and links to copies available for sale. For more in-depth information, opinions, and discussions, please visit the Books about the Romanovs and Imperial Russia discussion forum.

A word on availability: A great many of these books are now out of print. Because the secondhand book market changes daily, direct links will only be provided to sources with a stock of new, in-print books available for sale. To locate used and out-of-print books, I recommend sites such as bookfinder.com or addall.com. These search engines will comb hundreds of online bookseller inventories and provide a listing of available copies, complete with information on price and condition. Their searches cover sites like Abebooks, Alibris, Amazon, Half.com, as well as thousands of independent sellers worldwide.

To contribute an entry, or request that another title be added to the database, please contact  Sarah Miller or Lisa Davidson.
