Alexander Palace Interiors Today

This room was originally one of the most splendid in the palace and it housed many of its treasures. Today a few things have returned, some of which belong in other rooms. The last time I saw it the famous portrait of Alexandra by Kaulbach was being restored at Pavlovsk. It is good to see that somehings are returning. Pavlovsk has hundreds more to send back someday, hopefully soon.
