THE EMBANKMENT PAVILLION

The second pavilion of Yelagin, known as the "Pavilion on the Embankment" is an architectural jewel. Its Grecian Doric portico sweeps out from the building in a natural and unaffected way. In this architectural monument with it majestic lines and restrained decoration can been seen the enormous talent of Carlo Rossi.
