View of the White Hall

Above is a view of the White Hall which connected the Crimson Dining Room of Alexander III and Maria Fyodorovna (number 20) with the Marble Hall (number 12). The chandelier dates from around 1830 and is in Russian Empire style. The furniture is probably original to the palace and dates from the reign of Alexander I.

The picture above shows a big painting on the right of "The Black Sea Fleet" by Russian artist Beggrov. To the left is a painting called "The Russian Squadron" by Tkachenko. Notice the small doorway, which leads into the Marble Hall through a short passage and a large mirrored portal.
